This ceramic work was exhibited at the Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Centre, Skaelskor, Denmark after I completed an artist’s residency in July 2024. The exposure, at the centre, to new ceramic practice and materials expanded my capability for the practice-led research that continued during the residency. I visited the local countryside with forests and seaside and collected clay from a nearby excavation to make a series of test glazes that I then incorporated in my studio work.
